Corporate Communication of Barito Renewables hereby issues a clarification to the public regarding a factually incorrect report published on the CNBC Indonesia news portal.

In the first paragraph of the article written by journalist Romys Binekasri titled “BREN Boss Sells 28.2 Million Company Shares, Bags Rp 250 Billion” (dated 3 September 2025, at 13:10 WIB), it is stated that Merly sold her ownership of 28,234,800 shares. This is incorrect and false.

The party that conducted the share sale in that transaction was Green Era, one of the shareholders of PT Barito Renewables Tbk, with the intention of increasing the free float of shares circulating in the market. This transaction was reported through an Information Disclosure in accordance with applicable regulations to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on 2 September 2025. Ms. Merly, as the company’s Director, was authorized by Green Era to report the transaction to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (Ms. Merly was not the party conducting the transaction).
